Learning Outcomes and Application | This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to inspect wild, field-shot game meat during processing.This unit is only applicable to those inspecting wild, field-shot game carcases in a processing plant.No occupational licensing, legislative or certification requirements are know to apply to this unit at the time of publication. | ||
Duration and Setting | X weeks, nominally xx hours, delivered in a classroom/online/blended learning setting. Competency need only be demonstrated on the inspection of one game species. Assessment must include utilising wild game field shot carcases. As a minimum, the following three forms of assessment must be used: quiz of underpinning knowledge workplace demonstration workplace referee or third-party report of performance over time Assessors must satisfy current standards for RTOs. |
